Who We Are We exist to know Christ and make him known in all things for the joy of the people of L.A. and all peoples. Everything about what we do is driven by that mission statement. (More about our mission and values can be seen here.) We are a gospel community following Jesus Christ sent by him to serve the city of L.A. We follow Jesus Christ who came from heaven to earth around 4 B.C. and died about 33 A.D., on a Friday, and rose from the dead (read more about Jesus here). We are a community who shares life together and are bonded by a covenant of love and commitment to each other. We seek to know others and be known in the community. We are a “gospel community” (church) because we believe and hold the gospel as the center of our life together. Jesus sent us to serve the city of L.A. by sacrificially loving our neighbors. This means learning about L.A. by our neighbors in L.A. and seeking to meet some of the many needs of the city and neighborhood.
